Avaloq Consultant – Wealth & Asset Management

About the role

Acenet Ventures is looking for a highly skilled Techno‑Functional Avaloq Consultant to join its Wealth & Asset Management team in Dubai. The role bridges business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and scalable solutions using the Avaloq Banking Suite.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with portfolio managers, operations, compliance and finance teams to gather and validate business requirements.
• Document and analyse workflows for portfolio management, trading, settlement, corporate actions and reporting.
• Perform hands‑on parameterisation and configuration of Avaloq modules tailored to wealth management needs.
• Coordinate integration projects with external systems via APIs, FIX and SWIFT messaging.
• Lead UAT, training sessions and change‑management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• 12+ years of techno‑functional experience with Avaloq Banking Suite in Wealth & Asset Management.
• Strong functional knowledge of portfolio accounting, fund administration, reconciliation and compliance processes.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into system solutions and manage stakeholders effectively.

Required skills

• Avaloq Banking Suite, Avaloq parameterisation, APL scripting, PL/SQL.
• Oracle databases, APIs, FIX protocol, SWIFT messaging.
• Portfolio accounting, fund administration, reconciliation, compliance processes.
• Equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX instruments.
