Aviation Maintenance Curriculum Developer

About the role

The Aviation Maintenance Curriculum Developer creates and updates instructional programs for aviation maintenance, ensuring training materials reflect current aircraft configurations and meet regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop aviation maintenance training curricula and courseware using technical documentation and SME input.
• Ensure courseware complies with SAT (Systems Approach to Training) standards using computer‑based applications.
• Conduct needs analysis, write learning objectives, and develop teaching syllabi.
• Coordinate with subject‑matter experts to integrate performance metrics.
• Liaise with maintenance supervisors, managers, and technical support to verify material accuracy.
• Review course evaluations to assess training effectiveness.
• Implement revisions to improve training outcomes.
• Perform other training‑related duties as assigned by the Training Supervisor or Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Engineering or a related aviation discipline.
• Certified Course Developer qualification (e.g., SAT or ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS).
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in courseware development.
• General background in aviation maintenance training.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAT (Systems Approach to Training) methodology.
• ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Course Developer certification.
• Experience developing aviation maintenance curricula and instructional materials.
• Proficiency with computer‑based course development applications.
