AVP & Lead, Documentation Support CBG & IB

About the role

The role is responsible for checking and vetting documentation related to credit facilities and ensuring accurate entry into the bank’s system. It also guarantees the enforceability and authenticity of security documents executed by customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Documentation Support Managers, Specialists, and Filing Clerks.
• Approve registration and release of mortgages over properties, vehicles, machinery, equipment, and share pledges in Arabic.
• Review and approve mortgage agreements, amendments, and official correspondence addressed to various UAE authorities.
• Oversee payments related to pledge and mortgage registration and de‑registration fees.
• Handle UAE Central Bank reporting, reconciliations, and safekeeping of original security documents across Corporate Banking segments.
• Participate in projects assigned by the Head of the Documentation Unit and support preparation of RSCA, SOPs, BIA, and BCP documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 8‑10 years of experience in Corporate Banking, with at least 8 years in Corporate CAD function.
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) and UAE legal environment & Central Bank regulations.
• Team player, able to work under pressure, fast learner with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Experience with banking software systems.
