AVP – People Operations

About the role

Emirates Flight Catering is seeking an accomplished HR leader to serve as AVP – People Operations. Reporting to the SVP – Human Resources, this senior position oversees workforce planning, talent acquisition, mobilization and contingent workforce management for an organization of over 10,000 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide workforce and manpower planning, translating business needs into talent strategies.
• Drive high‑volume, multi‑category talent acquisition and onboarding across the organization.
• Develop and manage contingent workforce models, vendor partnerships and outsourced recruitment solutions.
• Provide workforce analytics, forecasting and reporting to support strategic decisions.
• Optimize people technology and processes, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including at least 6 years in senior leadership or strategic management.
• Proven experience in large‑scale workforce planning and high‑volume talent acquisition within the UAE.
• Strong commercial awareness with budget and cost management expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.

Required skills

• Workforce analytics and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Experience with HR/TA technologies, digital recruitment and onboarding solutions.
• Knowledge of contingent workforce models and vendor management.
