B2 Aircraft Engineer – Base Maintenance Experience

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Certify your own work and that of others, ensuring tasks comply with approved data and authorization scope.
• Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and on time according to company procedures.
• Carry out maintenance in compliance with company, health and safety, and airport regulations.
• Prepare all materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation at the start of each shift.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment to prevent Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and ensure equipment and work areas are serviceable and safe.
• Provide guidance and assistance to Technicians, conduct inspections on Ground Support Equipment, and perform daily vehicle inspections.

Required profile

• High School Leaving Certificate, Diploma, or University degree.
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA / EASA Part‑66 / ICAO convertible to GCAA).
• 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 5 years of certifying experience in a Base/Light Maintenance environment.
• 2–3 years of certifying experience on at least two Etihad type ratings (Airbus 320/330 NEO/350/380, Boeing 777/787) with company authorization.
• Excellent communication skills, strong teamwork mindset, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Required skills

• Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA/EASA/ICAO).
• Base Maintenance and certification of maintenance work.
• Airbus A320, A330 NEO, A350, A380 type rating.
• Boeing 777 and 787 type rating.
• Ground Support Equipment inspection and vehicle maintenance procedures.
