Back of House Assistant – Beauty Salon

About the role

Brau is seeking a proactive and organised Back of House Assistant to ensure smooth daily operations in its premium beauty salons. You will support artists and the reception team, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and manage stock to deliver the exceptional experience Brau is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and bays before every appointment.
• Clean, sanitise and fully stock all treatment equipment.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout the salon.
• Support artists by providing required supplies and assistance.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering from approved suppliers.
• Welcome guests with refreshments and help with consultation forms.
• Escort guests to treatment rooms and introduce them to their artist.
• Assist the reception team during busy periods.
• Complete opening, closing and daily operational checklists.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with suppliers for resolution.
• Attend team meetings and support salon events as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in beauty, spa, hospitality or a similar operational role.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of salon services, products and professional standards is advantageous.
