Bar Manager - Enclave Bar

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated resort in the UAE set to open in 2027 in Ras Al Khaimah, is looking for a Bar Manager for its Enclave Bar on the Food & Beverage team. The resort will include 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theater, a beach club, a five-star spa and a shopping promenade.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate the bar team to keep service standards and morale high.
• Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory, ordering, receiving and stock rotation to keep par levels optimal and minimise waste.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety and sanitation rules and act on non-compliance.
• Work with the Beverage Manager to create new cocktails and update beverage menus.
• Resolve escalated guest complaints quickly and refer concerns to the Beverage Manager or General Manager.
• Prepare drinks to recipe, recommend products to guests, serve food and drinks courteously, and keep the bar counter clean.
• Charge customers accurately, present bills promptly and follow payment procedures.
• Set up the bar daily, clean designated areas, follow hygiene protocols and dress code, and take part in meetings and training.
• Check identification where needed to confirm legal drinking age.

Required profile

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in bartending and bar management in upscale or luxury hospitality, with a track record of leading teams and running daily operations.
• Expert knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, premium spirits, wine and current beverage trends.
• Proven ability to manage bar operations, including inventory control, ordering and stock rotation.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and train staff.
• Formal bartending certification or recognised hospitality management training preferred.

Required skills

• POS systems, financial procedures and secure handling of cash or card transactions.
• Menu knowledge and confident product descriptions.
