Bartender

About the role

The Bartender will prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages to guests at Yas Plaza Hotels on Yas Island. The role involves direct guest interaction, taking orders, mixing drinks, and maintaining a clean, well‑stocked bar.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks according to guest requests and standard recipes.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, stock levels, and ensure compliance with local food‑handling and alcohol‑service laws.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the ordering information system.
• Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Formal bartending training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of proven food‑and‑beverage experience.
• Good communication skills, warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb, and perform bending/kneeling.
• Basic literacy, math, and computer knowledge.
• Organizational and multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Diploma, high‑school certificate or relevant qualification.
