Bartender – Noia By The Pool

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai is seeking an experienced Bartender to join the Noia – our Greek Restaurant by the pool. You will be responsible for delivering a creative beverage menu while supporting the service team in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Explain the outlet’s concept and beverage offerings to guests.
• Mix and garnish cocktails, non‑alcoholic drinks, spirits, beers and wines to brand standards.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and report them to management.
• Set up the bar station, monitor inventory and ensure stock availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including deep cleaning and proper product dating.
• Assist in developing new drinks for promotions and menu updates.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale system to process orders efficiently.

Required profile

• High school qualification; degree or HND in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a bartender in a high‑end bar and at least 2 years in a luxury hotel/resort.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills; additional languages a plus.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office.
• Experience operating a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Knowledge of bar service procedures, spirits and cigars.
