About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Billing Accountant to join our finance team on a two‑year contract. The role focuses on accurate invoicing and receivables management for our trucking operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and issue customer invoices promptly based on agreed tariffs and rates.
- Conduct regular reconciliations to eliminate old unbilled items.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve billing disputes.
- Generate and review billing reports and ad‑hoc financial analyses.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (MBA/MCom/CPA/CA preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in billing and invoicing, preferably within the trucking industry.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
