BIM CAD Technician – Wet Utilities

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled BIM/CAD Technician specialized in wet utilities to join its Dubai team. You will work closely with BIM leads and design engineers to produce accurate, standards‑compliant models and drawings for infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with BIM Lead, Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings, layouts, flow sheets, isometrics and component details.
• Manage BIM activities from project start‑up through completion, ensuring adherence to company QA/QC processes.
• Create parametric and non‑parametric families and extract schedules and quantities from the model.
• Perform clash detection, generate clash reports and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve issues.
• Review all drawings for readability, presentation and compliance with established standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 4 years of CAD drafting experience on wet and dry utilities projects in the MEA/UAE region.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
