BIM Coordinator – Busbar ETO Team

About the role

Vertiv is looking for a detail‑oriented BIM Coordinator to join its busbar engineered‑to‑order (ETO) team. Based in the UAE, the role supports the creation of accurate 2D shop drawings and 3D BIM models for busbar routes in commercial and data‑center projects, reporting to the Design Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 3D busbar layout models and 2D shop drawings in line with tender specifications, project schedules and client requirements.
• Lead review meetings with project engineers, managers and manufacturing teams to verify compliance with agency, industry and customer standards.
• Track and communicate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) changes, resolve drawing and specification discrepancies, and ensure timely design delivery.
• Maintain zero‑error design at project close‑out, update file locations and adhere to Vertiv HSE and equal‑opportunity policies.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a BIM Coordinator on data‑center or high‑rise building projects.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, single‑line diagrams and technical specifications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (3D modeling) and AutoCAD (2D drafting).
• NavisWorks for model coordination.
• Solid understanding of BIM workflow and ISO 19650 standards.
• Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook.
