BIM Manager - Infrastructure (Utilities & Roads)

About the role

Egis is looking for an experienced BIM Manager with direct experience on infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, rail and bridges) to join its team in Dubai. The role centres on wet and dry utilities and roadway design, supporting the infrastructure modelling team and covering BIM execution planning, coordination and CDE governance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans, EIR responses and MIDP/TIDP in line with ISO 19650 and project requirements.
• Set up and manage the CDE in ACC, including folders, permissions, naming conventions and approval workflows.
• Define and monitor model quality standards such as LOD/LOIN, model checking and audits.
• Ensure compliance with client and authority requirements (e.g. Dubai Municipality, RTA) for BIM deliverables.
• Lead and mentor the infrastructure modelling team, train staff on BIM standards and tools, and define BIM standards, templates and best practices.
• Act as the main BIM point of contact for clients, authorities and stakeholders, and lead coordination meetings and model reviews.
• Perform clash detection and write Dynamo automation scripts to improve project efficiency.
• Review and improve BIM delivery workflows and keep up with industry innovations.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of professional experience, with proven expertise in delivering infrastructure projects using BIM under ISO 19650.
• Proven ability to lead coordination meetings, manage interdisciplinary teams and run model reviews.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Background in large-scale infrastructure projects, including utilities and road design.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Civil 3D and Navisworks.
• Strong expertise in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Proficiency in Dynamo for Civil 3D, including automation scripts.
• Relevant Autodesk certifications (e.g. Civil 3D, Navisworks) are an advantage.
