BIM Manager - Landscape Architecture, Dubai

About the role

Cracknell, a landscape architecture studio in Dubai's creative quarter d3, is looking for an experienced BIM Manager with at least 10 years' relevant experience after qualification. Working under the supervision of the Associate BIM Manager, the role supports the implementation and maintenance of the firm's BIM process, manages the BIM workflow and production team, ensures quality control of models and guides design teams on project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM logistics (contracts, emails, CDE, data exchange) and drive production, coordination and delivery of projects in line with BIM requirements.
• Estimate delivery schedules, levels of effort and budgets, including possible out-of-house services.
• Liaise with project leaders, CAD team leaders, BIM staff, digital solutions and external consultants to produce coordinated BIM packages.
• Review and verify BIM deliverables (models, drawings, cost estimates, schedules) against QA/QC checks.
• Ensure models, drawings and documentation meet company design parameters, are delivered on time and within budget.
• Take part in multi-disciplinary and client meetings, giving feedback on model status, design review, constructability and 3D coordination.
• Mentor junior staff and take part in BIM coordination meetings aligned with the BIM Execution Plan.
• Help review and update Cracknell BIM standards and record lessons learned.

Required profile

• Diploma in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering or Design Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of relevant BIM environment experience, including at least 3 years as a BIM Manager.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary production environment; member of a landscape, architectural or engineering body is advantageous.
• Autodesk certification and fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Revit 3D modelling (architecture and MEP) and Autodesk Forma (expert).
• Proficiency in Dynamo, SketchUp, Infraworks, Rhino, Maya, 3ds Max, AutoCAD 2D/3D, Navisworks Manage and clash detection tools.
• Knowledge of Aconex, Unifier, ProjectWise and Forma; basic GIS, laser scanning, MicroStation and Bentley AECOsim is beneficial.
• Documented experience with BIM standards such as ISO 19650.
