BIM Modeller – AI Product Platform

About the role

Janus Digital is building an AI‑driven BIM platform to accelerate the creation, checking and enrichment of high‑detail MEP models. The BIM Modeller will deliver production‑grade models while providing market‑focused insights on AI tooling to shape the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Produce federated MEP models (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, ELV) for office, retail, hospitality, mixed‑use and data‑centre projects to LOD 350‑400.
• Build and maintain parametric Revit families, shared parameters and project templates aligned to Janus standards.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and BIM Collaborate Pro and manage BIM 360/Construction Cloud workflows.
• Apply AI and automation across the workflow – auto‑routing, family generation, drawing automation, model checking and scan‑to‑BIM.
• Write and maintain Dynamo and pyRevit/Python scripts, leveraging LLM assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for faster development.
• Map the AI‑for‑AEC landscape, evaluate emerging tools on real project data and translate findings into product requirements.

Required profile

• 6+ years BIM modelling experience, at least 4 years focused on MEP in commercial projects.
• Portfolio of coordinated LOD 350+ MEP models on a minimum of three delivered commercial projects.
• Proven delivery on ISO 19650 projects with multi‑disciplinary clash coordination.
• Demonstrable use of scripting or AI tools to accelerate modelling, with measurable before‑and‑after results.

Required skills

• Expert in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and proficient in AutoCAD.
• Navisworks Manage, BIM 360, BIM Collaborate Pro, and clash detection tools.
• Dynamo scripting, Python, pyRevit, Revit API (C#) and experience with LLM assistants.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, BEP/MIDP/TIDP, Uniclass/OmniClass, IFC export.
• Familiarity with Solibri, Revizto, BIMcollab, COBie, IDS, bSDD.
• Exposure to AI‑for‑AEC tools (generative design, auto‑routing, scan‑to‑BIM) and Autodesk Platform Services APIs is a plus.
