BMS HVAC Operator

About the role

The BMS HVAC Operator monitors and operates the Building Management System (BMS), Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) and HVAC plant in a pharmaceutical facility, ensuring controlled environments stay within validated limits.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor BMS/EMS screens for temperature, humidity, pressure, airflow, filter status and equipment run status, acknowledge and respond to alarms.
• Operate HVAC plant equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers and humidification systems according to SOPs and production schedules.
• Support preventive maintenance, filter changes, sensor calibration and track consumables.
• Maintain GMP compliance, data integrity and log all actions according to cGMP, EU GMP, US FDA and UAE regulations.
• Provide structured shift handovers and coordinate with Production, QA, Warehouse and Maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, HVAC or Refrigeration Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of BMS and HVAC operating experience, at least two years in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Hands‑on experience with AHUs, chillers, cleanroom HVAC and controlled environments.

Required skills

• Experience with Siemens Desigo CC (preferred) or similar platforms such as Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Schneider.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting HVAC plant equipment.
• Ability to follow GMP, SOPs and data‑integrity principles.
