Business Analyst - Business Development

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a Business Analyst within its Business Development department, reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer. The role sits in the financial services sector and focuses on commission structures, partner funds and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and manage commission structures for internal and external partners.
• Monitor and optimize the daily working funds allocated to partners, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of funds and incentives.
• Conduct in-depth business performance analysis to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance dashboards using Excel, Power BI and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present actionable insights supporting strategic growth.
• Use data-driven approaches to solve business problems and improve revenue opportunities.
• Evaluate and suggest improvements to analytical tools and processes.
• Serve as a liaison between business development and partner teams, supporting partners with data-driven insights and transparent performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a business analyst or similar analytical role.
• Strong understanding of business development functions, financial principles and data analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros)
• Power BI (data modeling, visualization, DAX)
• SQL (queries, joins, data extraction)
