Financial Operations Specialist

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a Financial Operations Specialist in Sheikh Zayed, UAE, reporting to the CFO. The role covers settlement and reconciliation of partner payments, daily financial reporting, refunds and ticket management, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Settlement and reconciliation: manage settlements for 5G, Elias, Value and Petro trades, and reconcile transactions with partners such as Bee, Momken, Egy Pay, Aman and Fawry, as well as billers such as Orange, Khales, CNE, One Card and Tadamon.
• Handle incoming emails, inquiries and complaints professionally, and work with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Extract reports from billers and partners and provide a daily summary of financial operations.
• Process refund transactions, investigate issues and resolve disputes; upload transactions, handle timeouts and unpaid transactions, and close tickets in the CRM system.
• Investigate and cancel duplicate transactions paid twice by mistake, and improve operational processes continuously.
• Reconcile billers offline and online, and manage cash in and out of the wallet, including pending transactions.

Required profile

• 1 to 2 years of experience; Fin-tech or banking experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Analytical, detail-oriented mindset, collaboration and cross-functional communication, customer-centric approach, integrity, accountability and resilience.
