Business Analytics Faculty

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analytics faculty member to deliver effective instruction to second-language learners within a student-centric environment. The role involves teaching core business subjects and specialised analytics courses, while actively participating in academic and community events.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation of HCT’s system-wide strategy and assist in developing Faculty policies.
• Teach and assess Business Analytics courses using practical, applied approaches and educational technology.
• Provide continuous feedback, monitor student progress, and support at-risk learners through advising and mentorship.
• Conduct applied research aligned with national innovation priorities and present findings at conferences.
• Serve on Faculty, program and system-wide committees and act as sponsor or adviser to student groups.
• Maintain teaching facilities, prepare electronic assessment files, and participate in curriculum revision.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and contribute to the recruitment and development of UAE nationals.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, or a Master’s degree with professional certification and at least five years of combined teaching and industry experience; a Bachelor’s with extensive industry experience may also be considered.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in the relevant field and preferably three years of industry experience.
• Experience developing curricula that meet accreditation and international standards.
• Proficiency in incorporating educational technology into teaching and assessment strategies.
