Business Controller – Finance Partner for Fashion Retail

About the role

We are seeking a Business Controller to act as a strategic finance partner for our commercial and product teams. Based at our Dubai headquarters, you will drive category performance, improve profitability and build robust controlling frameworks for a fast‑growing fashion retail business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Buying, Merchandising and Product teams to provide financial insight on sales, margin, stock and markdowns.
• Monitor and analyse P&L by product category, tracking KPIs such as sell‑through, gross margin, stock rotation and intake margins.
• Build and drive budget and forecast cycles at the category level, translating business strategy into financial projections.
• Design and implement controlling tools, reports and processes from scratch, standardising KPIs and improving data reliability.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses on raw data to uncover performance drivers and deliver actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• 4–8+ years of experience in Business Controlling or Commercial Finance.
• Background in fashion retail, fast‑fashion or FMCG retail strongly preferred.
• Exposure to category management or merchandising environments.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, scale‑up or transformation settings.
