Business Development Manager – CFD & Forex Partnerships

About the role

GateGate is building its first dedicated CFD Business Development team. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging and converting traditional finance clients—such as IBs, brokers and professional trading groups—into active users of our crypto platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach CFD/forex introducing brokers (IBs), brokers and professional trading groups, presenting GateGate’s product suite and partnership value.
• Guide traditional finance clients through the Web3 onboarding process, simplifying the transition and reducing entry barriers.
• Manage day‑to‑day channel relationships, respond to client needs and ensure long‑term retention.
• Monitor competitor platforms and traditional forex brokers for market trends, policy changes and commission structures, feeding insights back to refine the BD strategy.
• Track conversion metrics, maintain pipeline visibility and contribute to achieving the team’s trading volume targets.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of business development, channel sales or client relationship experience in CFD, forex or traditional brokerage/derivatives.
• Strong understanding of IB business models, trading workflows and commission/rebate structures.
• Proven prospecting and execution abilities—able to pitch, negotiate and close deals independently.
• Genuine curiosity about Web3, DeFi and crypto assets with a fast learning attitude.
• Business‑level proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
