Business Development Manager - Data Center

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the expansion into the fast‑growing data centre sector for a leading international infrastructure solutions provider. You will shape market entry, build a pipeline of projects and position the company as a trusted partner across the data centre ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a structured market entry and growth strategy for the data centre segment.
• Identify, qualify and analyse projects where mechanical and cooling solutions can be specified.
• Analyse HVAC, liquid‑cooling and chilled‑water systems to uncover application opportunities.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline across design, construction and operational phases.
• Drive early‑stage specification positioning within project designs.
• Establish and grow relationships with data centre developers, operators, engineering consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions to complex infrastructure challenges.
• Support technical presentations, proposals and bid submissions.
• Maintain a high level of client engagement, including significant regional travel.

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical sales or business development experience in mechanical systems, HVAC, infrastructure or industrial solutions.
• Proven track record of developing new markets or segments.
• Experience engaging with consultants, contractors and end‑users.
• Strong ability to combine technical understanding with commercial execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
