About the role

Our client, a global research and market‑intelligence firm, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across non‑government and non‑financial services sectors in the Gulf region. The role sits at the heart of the company’s growth engine, combining flagship research, data and economic‑intelligence solutions with senior‑level membership and executive‑engagement offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle – from strategic account mapping and prospecting to closing deals.
• Develop deep knowledge of large organisations in the Gulf, including ownership structures and subsidiaries.
• Build multi‑threaded relationships across departments and engage C‑suite stakeholders.
• Sell data‑led subscriptions and executive‑membership programmes.
• Translate geopolitical and macro‑economic trends into commercial value for clients.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience in SaaS, data‑as‑a‑product, information services or consulting.
• Strong passion for geopolitics and economics with contextual knowledge of the Middle‑East market.
• Excellent communication style suited to senior‑level engagement.
• Ability to map complex organisations and navigate consultative sales cycles.
