Business Development Manager

About the role

TapTap Payments is expanding its footprint across the MENA region and is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive enterprise merchant acquisition. You will work with high‑value platforms in travel, insurance, marketplaces, SaaS and financial services, shaping the company’s go‑to‑market strategy and delivering tailored payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and acquire large enterprise merchants and platforms across GCC and North Africa.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market plans to win enterprise clients and increase transaction volume.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiation, contracting and go‑live.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, issuers, acquirers and payment scheme partners.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, Risk and Compliance to structure deals that meet merchant needs and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, revenue forecasting and regular reporting using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Economics (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience in fintech, payments or acquiring.
• Proven track record of acquiring and managing large enterprise merchants and exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of card acquiring, payment gateways, alternative payment methods and local scheme integrations.
• Ability to navigate complex deal structures and engage confidently with C‑level stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of the GCC payments ecosystem, regulatory frameworks and key market players.
