Business Development Representative

About the role

As a Business Development Representative at ACI Worldwide in Dubai, you will support revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities for the regional sales team. You will work closely with field marketing, account executives, and inside‑sales leadership to turn campaign interest and outbound prospecting into qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Research target accounts, contacts, buying groups and market triggers to support sales and marketing priorities.
• Execute outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn and other approved channels to generate qualified meetings.
• Follow up on marketing‑generated leads from campaigns, webinars, events and account‑based programs.
• Qualify inbound and outbound interest using defined criteria and route opportunities to the appropriate sales leader.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, lead status and meeting outcomes in the CRM system.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in sales development, business development, inside sales or B2B lead generation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to conduct structured account and contact research and translate findings into targeted outreach.
• Comfort making cold calls and managing multiple follow‑up activities simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Experience using sales engagement tools and prospecting platforms.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Microsoft Office and digital collaboration platforms.
