Business Development Specialist

About the role

STS, an engineering firm specializing in post‑tensioning, heavy lifting, ground anchors and stay cables, is expanding across the MENA region. The Business Development Specialist will drive the promotion and adoption of STS’s technical solutions, building relationships with consultants, contractors and project owners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new project and sales opportunities throughout the MENA market.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, consultants, contractors and key decision‑makers.
• Promote STS products and services during specification, design and tender phases.
• Collaborate with technical, commercial and management teams to prepare proposals, presentations and tender submissions.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and develop local business networks.
• Represent STS at client meetings, industry events and project discussions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, technical and project sales within the construction sector.
• Demonstrated experience across the MENA region and an existing professional network among project owners, consultants or contractors.
• Hands‑on experience with post‑tensioning, either from the contractor, client or consultant side.
• Background in bridge construction or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic or other regional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UAE, GCC and wider MENA region for exhibitions and meetings.
