Business Finance and Transformation Manager

About the role

Puffy, a nine-figure D2C mattress brand with over $1 billion in sales, is hiring a Business Finance and Transformation Manager in Dubai (on-site) to own forecasting, margin recommendations and delegated finance improvements across procure-to-pay and record-to-report, reporting to the Accounting Manager / Finance Lead. The role turns reliable financial evidence into commercial decisions and frees Finance capacity through controlled workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose bottlenecks in procure-to-pay and record-to-report, redesign controls and handoffs, and define owners and measures of success
• Review purchase orders, receipts, invoice matching, approvals and payment readiness, resolving exceptions with clear evidence, owners and dates
• Maintain the rolling P&L forecast, test key assumptions and analyse SKU, channel and entity profitability against reconciled actuals
• Set Finance requirements for AI-assisted or automated changes, validate outputs against source records and measure time released and rework reduced
• Take on delegated reviews, document procedures and train backups, expanding coverage in agreed phases while the Finance Lead keeps accounting sign-off
• Deliver the first forecast, margin diagnosis and quantified recommendations by day 30, and escalate material risks early

Required profile

• At least 5 years in finance and accounting, with responsibility for financial delivery, controls and business analysis
• Has personally delivered finance process improvements into recurring use and maintained forecasts and margin recommendations
• Owned or reviewed controls and reconciliations, with knowledge of procure-to-pay, record-to-report, inventory, landed costs, COGS and close
• Has secured inputs across functions, communicated with leaders and escalated issues with a recommendation
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Required skills

• Good to have: inventory-led, e-commerce, retail or multi-entity experience
• Good to have: familiarity with QuickBooks, Zoho or similar accounting systems, and Finale or similar inventory platforms
• Good to have: hands-on experience with AI tools, workflow automation or query and integration tools used in finance
• CA, ACCA, CMA or comparable financial training

• Total annual compensation up to AED 462,000 (tax-free), with a base salary up to AED 35,000 per month (tax-free) and a monthly performance bonus of up to 10%
