Business Process Consultant

About the role

An experienced Business Process Consultant is sought to support business process transformation, process governance and business process management initiatives. The consultant leads process discovery workshops, maps and optimizes business processes, develops process documentation and establishes governance frameworks and ownership models.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, document and optimize business processes across business functions
• Conduct process discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews and gap analyses
• Develop and maintain business process models using BPMN 2.0 standards
• Support process governance frameworks, process ownership models and approval workflows
• Maintain central process repositories and process classification frameworks
• Define and document process owners, approvers, roles, responsibilities, risks and KPIs
• Develop SOPs, process guidelines and supporting documentation
• Support process improvement, re-engineering and automation initiatives
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, prepare training materials and deliver knowledge transfer sessions
• Support process reviews, validation and user acceptance testing where required

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field
• Extensive experience in business process management, transformation or re-engineering
• Experience establishing process governance frameworks and ownership models
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and workshop management skills
• Ability to deliver training and knowledge transfer to business users
• Strong communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and business process modelling standards
• Practical experience with BPM platforms such as ARIS, Signavio, Bizagi or OrbusInfinity
• Process mapping, gap analysis, SOP development and documentation
• Defining process KPIs, RACI matrices and process controls
• Preferred: BPM professional certification, Lean Six Sigma or ITIL Foundation certification; experience with government or semi-government entities and familiarity with DGEP or EFQM frameworks
