Business Unit Head – Consumer Healthcare

About the role

The client, an international healthcare organization with a strong Consumer Healthcare portfolio, seeks a Regional Business Unit Head to drive commercial performance across the Gulf region.

Key responsibilities

• Own commercial strategy, P&L, revenue growth, profitability, pricing and commercial planning for the Consumer Healthcare business.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market and channel strategies across pharmacy, retail, distributors and digital channels.
• Identify opportunities to expand brands, channels and markets while strengthening the portfolio.
• Lead distributor and key‑account relationships and ensure strong in‑market execution.
• Build and develop a high‑performing commercial organization with clear accountability for growth.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and other functions to translate portfolio strategy into results.

Required profile

• Significant commercial leadership experience in Consumer Healthcare/OTC, preferably in multinational or regional organisations.
• Proven P&L ownership with measurable growth, not just functional sales or marketing roles.
• Strong exposure to Gulf markets, especially UAE and preferably Kuwait.
• Experience managing pharmacy/retail channels, distributors, pricing, GTM and portfolio development.
• Ability to lead sizeable commercial teams and build premium healthcare brands.
