About the role
Apt Resources is looking for an experienced DCDP Butcher to join a reputable restaurant operating in Dubai. The role involves preparing and handling a wide range of meats and fish while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and verify quality and quantity of meat and fish deliveries.
- Prepare all meat and fish products according to company specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage in refrigeration areas.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef and F&B Manager to coordinate orders.
- Operate and maintain cutting equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a butcher in hotels, high‑end restaurants or cruise ships.
- Culinary Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of quality control, production processes and proper storage techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with kitchen and F&B teams.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
