About the role

The Butler Manager leads a dedicated team of butlers to deliver exceptional, personalized service to VIP guests in a luxury hospitality environment. This role ensures that every guest request is handled promptly and that in‑suite experiences meet the highest brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of butler services, ensuring timely and efficient fulfillment of guest orders, requests, and enquiries.
• Conduct embarkation inspections of all VIP suites and supervise in‑suite arrival procedures to align with brand standards.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop the Butler Team, fostering a culture of superior service performance.
• Mentor the Senior Butler, preparing them for future managerial responsibilities.
• Monitor and achieve brand‑defined performance targets and KPIs for the Butler Team.

Required profile

• Minimum two (2) years of Butler or guest‑facing experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or cruise line environment.
• Professional Butler or luxury service certification (e.g., International Butler Academy) is an advantage.
• Previous shipboard experience is highly preferred.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) with excellent communication skills; additional languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin, Arabic, or Japanese are assets.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with a proven capacity to lead, motivate, and develop a culturally diverse workforce.
