Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Buyer will support Corporate’s procurement function by identifying needs, managing the sourcing process, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to secure the best value while maintaining quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify procurement needs and initiate RFQs in line with department policies.
• Prepare, dispatch, and analyze bids; issue purchase orders.
• Negotiate pricing and payment terms with suppliers to achieve optimal cost savings.
• Monitor vendor performance, update procurement superintendent, and maintain supplier records.
• Receive and verify requisitions, update procurement policies and service level agreements.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors to ensure specifications, quality, and timelines are met.
• Maintain and expand the network of approved vendors.
• Clarify end‑user requirements to place accurate orders.
• Assist in cost‑management initiatives and analyze pricing impacts.
• Prepare accurate reports and promote health & safety compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant procurement experience in a similar industry.
