Cadet Technician Programme – UAE Nationals Only

About the role

The Etihad Cadet Technician Programme is a two‑year, full‑time training pathway designed for UAE nationals to become licensed Aircraft Technicians. Participants receive a blend of classroom theory and hands‑on maintenance experience on a variety of aircraft types.

Key responsibilities

• Complete the GCAA‑approved training syllabus and pass all module exams with at least a 75% score.
• Perform on‑the‑job maintenance tasks under supervision, logging work in the Schedule of Work.
• Adhere to Etihad and GCAA safety, health, and regulatory procedures at all times.

Required profile

• UAE national, aged 18‑29, with a high‑school certificate (Maths/Physics/Science) and at least 60% overall.
• Strong command of English and willingness to work shifts, including nights and outdoor environments.
• Completed or exempted from UAE National Service (males only).

Required skills

• Basic aircraft maintenance knowledge.
• Familiarity with GCAA regulations and safety standards.
