Cantonese Speaking Sales Executive

About the role

Cognita, a global family of over 90 schools across 21 countries, is hiring a Cantonese-speaking sales executive in Dubai. Fluent Cantonese is essential and non-negotiable. You will be the first point of contact for prospective families, guiding them from initial enquiry through application and enrolment. It is a sales-focused, target-driven role that requires strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness and the ability to convert opportunities, managing a high-volume pipeline across phone, email, WhatsApp and other digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage prospective families from initial enquiry through to enrolment
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Drive enquiry-to-application and application-to-enrolment conversion
• Hold consultative sales conversations and handle objections
• Follow up and re-engage prospective customers proactively
• Work towards individual and team activity, conversion and enrolment targets
• Coordinate closely with admissions, customer experience, marketing and leadership teams
• Maintain accurate CRM records and use pipeline data to prioritise activity

Required profile

• Fluent Cantonese, with excellent spoken and written English
• Proven experience in sales, business development, account management, admissions or relationship management
• A strong track record of achieving commercial or performance targets
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume, target-driven environment
• Proactive, resilient and commercially minded approach
• Strong cultural awareness and confidence working with international customers

Required skills

• CRM pipeline management, such as HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

The role is based in Dubai, UAE, with a working week of Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday depending on operational needs; international travel and occasional weekend work may be required. New staff are subject to detailed pre-employment clearance, including identity and criminal background checks, qualification and employment checks and reference checks.
