Capital Projects Transformation Consultant - Emiratization and UAE Talent Development

About the role

Accenture Strategy & Consulting's Capital Projects practice is hiring a consultant in Abu Dhabi to help clients transform how major investments are planned, governed and delivered. The role works with executives, project sponsors, PMOs and delivery teams to improve project performance, strengthen governance and project controls, and support digital transformation in capital-intensive industries. It combines consulting, project controls, business transformation and technology-enabled delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on project controls, project governance, capital planning and delivery transformation
• Assess and enhance project controls operating models and PMO effectiveness
• Lead cost, schedule and performance management assessments
• Support governance frameworks, stage-gate models and assurance processes
• Conduct schedule, risk and earned value performance reviews
• Define reporting requirements and executive dashboards for program and portfolio management
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions, and support implementation of capital project management platforms
• Prepare executive presentations, recommendations and business cases, and contribute to proposals

Required profile

• Proven years of experience in capital projects consulting, PMO, project controls, EPC, engineering, construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy or industrial sectors
• Experience on large-scale capital programs
• Management consulting or project advisory experience highly desirable
• PMP, AACE CCP, PMI-SP, PRINCE2 or equivalent preferred
• Experience leading client-facing workstreams is advantageous

Required skills

• Project controls, cost controls, schedule controls, earned value management (EVM)
• PMO setup and transformation, capital portfolio management, governance and assurance, risk management, business process improvement
• Technical exposure to Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Unifier, EcoSys, Aconex, Planisware, Power BI, Oracle or SAP project systems
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills
