Captain – A320 (UAE National)

About the role

Air Arabia is seeking a UAE national Captain to operate A320 aircraft on scheduled routes from Sharjah. The role involves ensuring safety, efficiency and passenger comfort while complying with airline manuals and civil aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned A320 flights according to schedules, flight plans and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct pre‑flight briefings, coordinate with co‑pilots, dispatch and maintenance, and ensure all safety, security and fuel checks are completed.
• Maintain aircraft documentation, technical logs and compliance with the Airline Operations Manual.
• Handle emergencies, security incidents and ad‑hoc scenarios, providing direction to the crew.

Required profile

• Valid ATPL licence and successful completion of airline and civil‑aviation medical and psychometric assessments.
• Minimum 4,000 flight hours, preferably on Airbus A320, with experience in a low‑cost carrier environment.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, safety, security and QA procedures.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional local languages are a plus.
