Procurement Manager – Ground Handling & Airport Services

About the role
Responsible for developing and executing the ground handling and airport services procurement strategy, driving cost optimisation, operational continuity and service quality through strategic sourcing, contract management and supplier partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement group‑wide ground handling category strategies, lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier consolidation.
- Lead end‑to‑end sourcing and tendering activities (RFI, RFQ, RFP) using Oracle Fusion sourcing platforms.
- Negotiate and manage Ground Handling Agreements, aeronautical fees and airport space lease contracts in line with IATA SGHA standards.
- Establish and monitor supplier KPIs, SLAs and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Drive adoption of eSourcing and Contract Lifecycle Management systems and standardise procurement processes.
Required profile
- Minimum 10+ years procurement experience with strong exposure to aviation ground handling services.
- At least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within the airlines industry.
- Strong understanding of IATA SGHA framework, ICAO charging principles and airport economic regulations.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
