Captain – A330

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced A330 Captain to join its rapidly expanding fleet based in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for the safe, secure and efficient operation of each flight, leading a modern fleet while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise full command of the aircraft from taxi‑out to final engine shutdown.
• Lead flight and cabin crew, ensuring strong decision‑making and crew resource management.
• Maintain operational efficiency and environmental responsibility in line with company fuel and sustainability policies.
• Deliver consistent on‑time performance to meet Etihad’s reliability commitments.

Required profile

• Minimum 7,000 total flying hours, including at least 2,500 PIC hours.
• At least 1,500 PIC hours on the A330 type, flown within the last 12 months.
• Valid A330 type rating (minimum 2 months remaining at joining) and unrestricted ICAO ATPL.
• Current Class 1 medical, unrestricted and current English fluency (Level 4 or higher), and age under 59 on start date.
