Car Rental Agent

About the role

National Car Rental is hiring a Rental Agent in Dubai to handle car rental transactions with prospective customers, delivering high standards of customer service and helping achieve the team's targets.

Key responsibilities

• Receive enquiries from walk-in customers and by telephone, take bookings and give information on availability and rental charges.
• Check customers' credentials and driver's licence, draw up a rental agreement and deliver the car in good condition.
• Inspect returned cars for damage and mileage, process payments and collect the required approvals and documentation.
• Check for overdue agreements daily and collect payments on time each month.
• Physically check vehicles for hygiene and quality before delivery.
• Control overtime for all location drivers and keep the police system updated.
• Liaise with customers on disputed payments such as traffic fines to ensure timely recovery.
• Maintain counter housekeeping standards and forward rental agreements and daily sales reports to the main office daily.

Required profile

• High school education.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in rental sales in the GCC market.
