Cardiovascular Technologist

About the role

HealthHub Clinics, part of Al-Futtaim Health, is looking for an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join its multidisciplinary team at the Dubai Festival City clinic, one of its largest and most established facilities. The technologist supports cardiologists and physicians in performing high-quality cardiac investigations and diagnostic testing, and plays a key role in identifying, monitoring and supporting the management of cardiovascular conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and record resting ECGs, set up Holter monitors and instruct patients, and support ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM)
• Assist with cardiac stress testing (treadmill ECG) and echocardiography where appropriate
• Prepare patients for cardiovascular investigations and procedures, and maintain diagnostic equipment
• Educate patients on test procedures, monitor their safety during testing and escalate abnormal findings to the clinical team
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports, comply with DHA standards, and support infection control and patient safety
• Take part in continuous professional development and training

Required profile

• DHA licensed or DHA eligible Cardiovascular Technologist
• Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related qualification
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience in outpatient clinics, hospitals or cardiology departments, and supporting cardiologists in outpatient settings
• Fluent English; Arabic or Tagalog is highly preferred
• BLS certification

Required skills

• ECGs, Holter monitoring, cardiac stress testing and ABPM
• Echocardiography experience
• Strong patient communication skills
