Career Center Manager

About the role

The Career Center Manager leads the university’s career services across Sharjah and Abu Dhabi campuses, overseeing student sponsorships, internships, graduate placement, and scholarship programs. This senior position ensures that all students receive comprehensive career guidance and employment opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and supervise all functions of the Career Center, including student sponsorships, internships, graduate placement, scholarship office, and temporary employment.
• Provide career development support such as major selection, interview preparation, resume writing, and work‑environment readiness.
• Collect, analyze and report career data to inform university leadership.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international employers, hosting them on campus.
• Ensure equitable career services for all students regardless of campus or academic level.
• Design and implement marketing plans for the Career Center.
• Coordinate participation in career exhibitions and events.
• Oversee implementation of signed agreements and MOUs.
• Expand employment opportunities for graduates and alumni.
• Explore joint sponsorships, training opportunities, and nationalization plans with employers.
• Prepare, propose and manage the annual budget for the Career Center.
• Manage all aspects of the sponsored student program.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing university career services or similar HR functions.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to analyze data and present actionable insights.
• Excellent relationship‑building capabilities with employers and academic staff.
• Experience preparing and managing budgets.
• Career services certification preferred.
