Cashier

About the role

The Cashier is essential to delivering a smooth and friendly dining experience at eathos. You will handle customer payments, manage order flow between the front‑of‑house and kitchen, and ensure accurate transaction records.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, answer inquiries and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS system and calculate totals.
• Process payments via cash, credit cards and digital payment methods, giving correct change.
• Maintain a clean, organized cash register area and keep supplies stocked.
• Use the aggregator system to monitor online orders, apply discounts and update inventory in real time.
• Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff and prioritize them according to delivery or dining‑room needs.
• Handle phone calls, upsell menu items and resolve customer concerns in collaboration with the team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cashier or customer‑service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong mathematical ability and attention to detail when handling cash.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills
