Chef de Cuisine – Alba Terrace

About the role

The Abu Dhabi EDITION is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary operations of Alba Terrace, its signature restaurant. You will be responsible for delivering consistent, high‑quality dishes while guiding a team of cooks and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with Food & Beverage policies, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Develop, design, and execute daily and seasonal menu items, managing food quantities, plating, and presentation.
• Coordinate purchasing, inventory control, and storage to maintain optimal food costs and quality.
• Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and high performance.
• Monitor production needs, estimate daily output, and adjust staffing as required.
• Ensure all food handling follows temperature and storage regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of culinary experience, or a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel & Restaurant Management with 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to manage a full‑service restaurant kitchen and lead a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and operational budgeting.
