About the role
The Chef de Partie – Bakery will operate within the restaurant kitchen at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, ensuring a safe, smooth and profitable service while upholding Anantara’s culinary standards and hospitality values.
Key responsibilities
- Organise all activities in the bakery kitchen alongside the restaurant chef, maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Support the development of cuisine concepts and standards for the restaurant.
- Stay informed about the local market and suppliers, recommending menu changes based on seasonal availability.
- Follow Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to deliver consistent quality.
- Continuously suggest improvements to presentation guidelines and menu offerings.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation practices, including proper storage, rotation and dating.
- Ensure outlet safety and manage assets and facilities of the bakery area.
- Participate in departmental training and provide coaching to team members.
- Promote positive inter‑departmental relations through clear communication and cooperation.
