Chef de Partie – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Join the culinary team at InterContinental Abu Dhabi as a Chef de Partie. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced, luxury hotel environment while supporting junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of an assigned kitchen section.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to approved recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Ensure consistency of taste, quality and presentation across all output.
• Supervise and train Demi Chefs, Commis Chefs and other junior staff.
• Coordinate with the Sous Chef and other sections during service.
• Monitor ingredient quality, storage and stock levels, following FIFO and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Support banquet, special events and menu development initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie, preferably in a hotel, resort or high‑volume restaurant.
• Experience in a luxury or international hotel environment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity and a passion for hospitality.
