About the role

Join Novotel Hotels in Dubai as a Chef de Partie – Pastry, supporting the Pastry Chef in delivering high‑quality desserts, breads, and confectionery for hotel guests. You will work in a dynamic 5‑star environment, ensuring every product meets the brand’s standards of taste, presentation, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, breads, chocolates, and other bakery items following standard recipes.
• Maintain the assigned pastry section, ensuring smooth daily operations and proper mise en place.
• Adhere to HACCP, food safety, and hygiene protocols, keeping workstations clean and organized.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and manage proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
• Assist with buffet displays, banquets, room service, and special events as required.
• Support the Pastry Chef in training and supervising junior kitchen staff.
• Control waste and contribute to cost‑effective production.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Pastry, or Bakery.
• 2–3 years of pastry experience in a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, chocolate work, and cake decoration.
• Good understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced kitchen.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and teamwork skills.
