About the role

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and sweet items according to standard recipes, maintaining consistent taste, texture, and presentation.
• Supervise and support Commis Chefs and other team members within the pastry section, providing guidance and ensuring smooth operations in the absence of senior chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all pastry work areas, equipment, and utensils, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, storage, labeling, and stock rotation to ensure compliance.
• Assist with cost management by minimizing waste, following portion standards, and using ingredients efficiently.
• Uphold health, safety, sanitation, and food hygiene regulations to protect guests and team members.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor in Pastry Arts.
• Experience working in a high‑volume pastry kitchen.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong communication skills.
