Chief Accountant

About the role

The holding group in Fujairah is seeking a hands‑on Chief Accountant to lead financial reporting, compliance and accounting operations across the business. The successful candidate will ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end closes while maintaining strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, delivering timely financial statements.
• Manage the full accounting cycle including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory and cash management.
• Oversee inventory accounting, costing, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure proper revenue recognition, receivables management and credit control.
• Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow statements.
• Handle inter‑company reconciliations and ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT and internal control policies.
• Support external audits, improve accounting processes and ERP controls, and lead the accounting team.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of end‑to‑end accounting experience, preferably as a Chief Accountant.
• Background in Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing or Agriculture.
• Experience in multi‑entity environments and integrated ERP systems.
• Proven team‑leadership and analytical abilities.
