Chief Architect

About the role

DXC Technology is looking for a senior Chief Architect to lead the end‑to‑end architecture of a large‑scale enterprise transformation programme in Abu Dhabi. The role involves owning the target enterprise architecture, chairing the Design Authority, and defining architectural principles, standards and roadmaps across multiple domains.

Key responsibilities

• Own and direct the target enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and programme requirements.
• Define and govern architectural principles, standards, solution blueprints and technology roadmaps.
• Chair the Design Authority and Architecture Review Board, resolving cross‑domain design decisions.
• Lead end‑to‑end solution design across applications, integration, data, cloud, infrastructure, network and cybersecurity.
• Govern requirements, interface specifications and architecture decision records, ensuring solutions meet availability, performance, scalability, security, resilience and maintainability requirements.
• Evaluate platforms and technologies, making informed build‑versus‑buy decisions and managing programme‑level architectural risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Typically 15+ years of enterprise or solution architecture experience, including leadership of architecture governance and design authorities.
• Proven ownership of end‑to‑end enterprise architecture across large, complex transformation programmes.
• Strong cross‑domain expertise spanning applications, integration, data, cloud, infrastructure, network and cybersecurity.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and executive engagement skills.
