Cloud Engineer

About the role

The Cloud Engineer will lead assessment delivery and stakeholder engagement across engineering, operations, architecture, security, governance, AI, and FinOps teams. The role focuses on evaluating people, processes, technology, and measurement dimensions within AWS and Azure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assessment delivery, facilitate workshops, interviews, and validation sessions.
• Assess people, processes, technology, and measurement dimensions across cloud environments.
• Review evidence covering IaC, CI/CD, GitOps, security, IAM, observability, service management, governance, and FinOps.
• Document evidence‑based findings, maturity ratings, risks, and recommendations.
• Develop prioritized improvement roadmaps with clear ownership and timelines.
• Present findings to technical and executive stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience leading cloud, DevOps, platform, or operational maturity assessments.
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, and interviewing skills.
• Ability to challenge assumptions, validate evidence, and produce concise, actionable findings.
• Executive communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of AWS and/or Azure enterprise environments.
• Expertise in cloud architecture, landing zones, IAM, governance, and security.
• Proficiency with IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, GitOps, observability, and DevSecOps.
• Experience with FinOps, platform engineering, and DORA metrics.
